Flax Spiral Journal
The cover of this wood-free spiral journal uses durable, sustainable, and upcycle linen rags as the primary material. Linen is a fabric that comes from the fibers of the flax plant. Inside paper is made from discarded cotton bits as the primary material. These papers are good for the planet; no trees cut down, no bleaches or acids added, no water used, no waste produced, 85% less energy used, and 60% less CO2 emitted when producing this paper. The spiral spring comes from recycled steel.
Production of 1 tonne of Wood Pulp Paper requires 65000 Liters of Water. Had this notebook been made from Wood Pulp Paper, 8 Liters of water would have been wasted!
